In recent years, the adverts in our Year books and dog press have progressed from a photograph of our show dog and a few words about their wins. Now our kennel adverts are becoming works of art that really catch the eye and make you stop and look!
The same applies to litter announcements. Social media does not permit advertising dogs and puppies for sale and algorithms result in posts being removed and the OP being banned from posting. In the same way, we can no longer call our girls "bitches" as that is offensive.
So how can you get your message across that you have a litter due? Well sometimes just having a photograph with all the information embedded will do the trick.
There are many apps out there that will strip out the backgrounds and allow you to insert text but they can be restrictive in what you can do or how you manipulate the picture.
Some of the phone apps are also AI configured to swap heads from people to remove your eyes closed/raised look to one where you are smiling.
However if you want something really special, there's photoshop! Compiling multiple layers of photographs and texts, it is possible to build something really special.
Being careful to avoid copyrights, backgrounds are drawn from my Adobe stock account, compiled with photographs supplied by you. Please make sure that you have the photographers permission to use the photo. It is their livelihood and they should be acknowledged in the final artwork.
There is a nominal charge for this work as I do have to pay for the Adobe accounts to produce the images and it can take many hours to put the adverts together. My prices start at £30 for a page. Discounts for multiple pages keeping the same theme. The better the photo supplied, the better the end results!
