When you're invited to go and look at a litter, you know you're heading for trouble!  when that little black and white head cocks to one side, you know you are done for!

Fliss joined us in 2015 co-owned with her breeders Diane and Paul Stilgoe.  

Fliss did very well for us in the ring.  She never quite picked up one of the elusive green rimmed cards but she was close behind some fabulous dogs who will be long remembered.  She had some fabulous critiques during her time in the ring.

As well as gaining some lovely places at Championship shows, she had many BOB and group places at Open shows. Her most notable wins included 3 BEST IN SHOWS in 2017 at Chepstow, The Pointer Club and Hereford.

Fliss gained her Good citizen bronze (and yes, it was close to wondering if we could bribe the assessor as sitting and staying were not high on her agenda) but she finally got it in August 2017.  2017 was obviously a good year for her!

2018 saw our first (and so far only) litter at Olivesong.  Mated to SH CH Chesterhope Thrill of T'Chase (Imp NZL), she produced a litter of 6, 2 girls and 4 boys.

We kept the Feral child from that litter, Buffy!

Within weeks of having her litter in 2018, she was back in form gaining "Excellent's" at the World Show in Amsterdam.  We won't mention that her love of the sea nearly saw her swimming home from Calais rather than waiting for a ferry!

From the time she was 7, Fliss was gaining good places in veteran classes gaining 2 Best Veteran in Shows at Gloucester and The Pointer Club but her career was cut short by a broken leg (wrist) in 2023.  This was fixed by surgery to insert a metal plate (Arthrodesis)

You would never know there was anything amiss to see at her running amok!  She broke the plate in her leg 6 months after the fix but she's still running circles around everyone.   Unfortunately that did mean that she just narrowly missed out on her Veteran Warrant to add to her Junior Warrant and Show certificate of Merit.

FIRST LOVE

Fliss's first love will always be water and she takes the chance whenever its offered, and sometimes when its not on offer she finds it anyway!  She adores the sea and jumping the waves! Many people say that their pointers don't do water... I sometimes wish these didn't when they are merrily swimming out to sea!
